It’s hard to believe but CancerBlows will celebrate its 10th Anniversary in 2025! The original CancerBlows concert was meant to be a one-time event – a celebration of Ryan Anthony completing his first stem cell transplant. But here we are ten years later continuing to make beautiful music together to help find a cure for cancer. We have lots of exciting things planned for a yearlong celebration – stay tuned to our website and follow us on social media to be the first to know more!
Join the Big Phat Band, Take Six, Lee Ritenour, Wayne Bergeron and more on December 30th as we honor the life and musical legacy of jazz pianist, saxophonist, conductor, arranger and composer Gordon Goodwin who we lost this month to pancreatic cancer. A portion of the proceeds from this amazing night of music will benefit CancerBlows.
CancerBlows’ first Club Series Event at Buddy Guy’s Legends Blues Club on December 18th in Chicago was a sell-out success. From surprise guest Jose Sibaja’s blazing “Green Hornet” to Jens Lindemann’s trumpet retelling of “The Devil Went Down to Georgia” to an all-star line-up during Wayne Bergeron’s “MacArthur Park”, the sold-out crowd was blown away.
Many thanks to all of the people whose hard work made this happen (and of course our sponsors listed below!) including Mark Norman & Brass IMPACT!, Wayne Bergeron, Jens Lindemann, Jose Sibaja and so many more.
Don’t miss our next event! Follow us on social media to be notified of future CancerBlows Club Series dates.
